Tuesday 15th July

Look out for information about a forth-coming ICT Conference for Heads and Deputy which BHITDS will be sponsoring.

We will be organising an ICT Exhibtion for delegates during their residential stay. If you supply Primary Phase School with IT Solutions and are interested in booking a place at the conference please contact as soon as possible via our contact details page.

Gomer Infant School website is now complete and the staff, children and parents at the school seem very pleased with the bespoke illustrations, bright colours and simple, easy to use navigation throughout the site.

Alverstoke Infant School and Gomer Junior School are the latest projects to be undertaken. Each school has a very clear idea of where it wants to go with the design of the website, more news on the websites shortly.

Bay House School's VLE and school website, which was shortlisted last year for the Hantsweb Awards, is currently being considered for a make-over. We endeavour to develop our websites to suit the growing needs of our parents, pupils and staff. More news on that later.

We have just completed an Online Gallery celebrating the children's art and sculpture at Bay House.

Gomer Infants School website is currently being redesigned and created by our web team. The emphasis for the website is to be colourful and eye-catching with plenty of news and information for parents.

Alverstoke Infant School and Gomer Junior School are also having brand new websites designed for 2008.


Wednesday 17th October 2007

The Area4Parents website was launched by Mayor Gosport, Councillor Kieth Gill. The evening, which saw organisations and agencies from across Gosport and the local community bringing information to parents from the local cluster schools, was hosted at Bay House.

Hundreds of parents turned up and enjoyed the evening which provided refreshments and entertainment too!

The Area4Parents website has a base design and work is ongoing with the school 2 home pages. A forum and expert advice panel is under development.

Cross Curricular, an exciting project involving five secondary schools in Gosport and Fareham has been updated and now has a registration and login area.


Saturday 19th May 2007

An exciting new project is underway. Nine primary schools in Gosport have set aside funding for the creation of a website for families in the Gosport area.

The website www.area4parents.co.uk will be launched in October 2007 to coincide with national Parenting Week. The content of the website will provide parents and carers with up to date information about resources locally and nationally; plus a forum with expert advice and the latest news and events updated weekly from each of the 9 schools.

Please note this site is under development.

The Enterprise Academy comes on board. Darren Male, Project Manager of the Enterprise Academy, a trust set up to provide opportunities for young people with educational problems, will be using our graphic and web design team to create a website and brochure which he can use to promote the Academy.
